Task description

The research proposal should describe the research problem which can be addressed by reviewing existing literature or secondary data sources in a systematic way, specify its importance and detail the methods to be used and why they are appropriate. The document should be no more than 1,000 words. It should contain sufficient information for the supervisor to assess the degree to which the student is familiar with the background and history of the problem and has assessed the strengths and weaknesses of previous work in the area.

This assessment task evaluates students' abilities, skills and knowledge without the aid of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Translation (MT). Students are advised that the use of AI or MT technologies to develop responses is strictly prohibited and may constitute student misconduct under the Student Code of Conduct.

Task description

The research project presentation is compulsory. Students are required to submit a 10 minutes long pre-recorded video presentation via course Blackboard site. Students should use appropriate visual aids (e.g. PowerPoint Slides) based on the UQ template to assist your presentation, also clearly showing the presenter's video on the presentation.
