Students will need to complete three tasks as part of this assignment.

Students will be given four anonymised adult panoramic radiographs and two anonymised mixed dentition panoramic radiographs.

Task I: is to be completed for both adult and mixed dentition panoramic radiographs.

This task involves labelling teeth that are present and identifying any missing permanent teeth.

Task II: is to be completed for only the two adult panoramic radiographs.

This task involves annotation and labelling of anatomic structures/landmarks for students to demonstrate a sound understanding of radiographic anatomy.

Task III: involves writing two radiographic referrals.

Students will be presented with two clinical scenarios and based on the scenarios will be tasked with completing an imaging request form.

The information presented in the assignment must be:

(1) Accurate, (2) Relevant to the specific radiograph or clinical scenario being described, (3) Comprehensive and (4) Presented in a well structured and logical way.
