This course aims to develop students' knowledge, confidence, and capacity to coordinate and lead programs of sport and physical activity within primary school settings (beyond Health and Physical Education). Topics covered within the course involve physical activity leadership, whole-school physical activity programs, and integration of physical activity in the classroom. Students will engage in a range of interactive learning experiences and authentic assessment tasks that will help them develop an understanding of the theory and practice underlying the abovementioned topics in primary school settings.

Aims and outcomes

Use of AI: Complex / authentic assessment using AI to support learning
This task has been designed to be challenging, authentic and complex. ᅠWhilst students may use AI technologies, successful completion of assessment in this course will require students to critically engage in specific contexts and tasks for which artificial intelligence will provide only limited support and guidance.
