Task description
Students are required to prepare a video on a topic related to one of the modules covered in the course. For example, compost production for organic farming or nutrient management in aquaponics. While your topic must be related to a module, it can be an aspect that was not covered in-depth, but is of interest to you. You can be as creative as you wish with your video, but as a minimum you must prepare a PowerPoint presentation and voice over. For identity verification, you must include yourself in the video. The recording should be 3 minutes in length. Please do not include videos of other people or businesses (unless it is your own), as this would require written consent. The video must be submitted online and will be viewed by other students in the course.
This assessment task is to be completed in-person. The use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Translation (MT) tools will not be permitted. Any attempted use of AI or MT may constitute student misconduct under the Student Code of Conduct.

Course Grading Hurdles:ᅠ
To pass the course students must (1) achieve a passing mark in the final exam, and (2) achieve an overall mark for the entire course assessments of 50% or greater.
If a student obtains an overall percentage greater than the cut-offs set to achieve a 4 or higher for the course based on marks from a combination of progressive assessment and the final exam and the student does not score a passing mark in the final exam, they are unable to achieve a grade higher than a 3 (failing grade) for the course.
Supplementary assessment
Supplementary assessment is available for this course.

TurnItIn Assignments
TurnItIn Assignments that are required to be submitted through TurnItIn, must only be uploaded to the assessment specific Turnitin link on the relevant course Blackboard site.ᅠ If you submit any version of your assessment item to any alternative Turnitin link, this is considered cheating and you will be held liable for this action. ᅠ
Please note the following when writing your assignmentsᅠ
You must not re-use past work from previous assessments in your assignments.ᅠ
Results
Unless specifically indicated by the Course Administrator, where possible, all attempts will be made to release results for progressive assessment tasks within 3 weeks of submission. For items of assessment submitted in the last 2 weeks of the semester and unless otherwise indicated by the Course Administrator, all attempts will be made to release the results before the end of the semester examination period. Results and feedback will be available through Turnitin and release date will be advised to you by email or announced via the course Blackboard site.
