This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts of Business Management. It examines the business life cycle and covers a broad range of business management concepts and business operations that contribute to the success of businesses large and small.

The requirement for Business Management knowledge and skills in the modern world is not confined to big corporate business. It has value for sole traders, private companies, government agencies, and non-government agencies alike and includes not-for-profit organisations. Business Management knowledge and skills in these organisations are of value whatever type of stakeholder you might be including an entrepreneur, business owner, shareholder, manager, or employee. The content you will explore, learn, and apply during this course will assist you in solving business problems in a modern world and provide an insight into areas of business which some students may consider pursuing in their future studies, such as human resources supply chain management and marketing.ᅠ
