Task description

There are three modules that comprise this assessment item: Module 1 (5%), Module 2 (5%), and Module 3 (5%). The mark for each module is derived from two components.

The ‘Activities’ due date is the date for submission of surveys and ripple.

The ‘Tutorial’ due date is the date for submission of the oral presentation slides. The oral presentations will be held the same day (Mondays) at 7-9pm AEST.

(i) Surveys / Ripple

Answer questions that relate to the Module contents. The correctness of answers will not be considered in the allocation of marks. However, in order to obtain marks, it must be clear that the student has made a meaningful attempt at the task.

(ii) Tutorial Presentations

Students are required to contribute to the Tutorial Discussion Boards for each module to prepare for the Tutorial. Each student will be assigned a group by the course coordinator. Groups will prepare the presentation for the online tutorial. A 16:9 PowerPoint format should be used. The recommended template is available to download in Blackboard. The online tutorials are scheduled for two hours on Monday evenings from 7-9 pm AEST. One member from each group will be required to upload their PowerPoint slides for the tutorial onto the blue discussion board for their group by 1pm the day of the tutorial. See Blackboard for more information and the marking criteria for this assessment.

This task has been designed to be challenging, authentic and complex. Whilst students may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, successful completion of assessment in this course will require students to critically engage in specific contexts and tasks for which artificial intelligence will provide only limited support and guidance. Step 2: Collectively develop an evidence-based, patient-friendly resource designed to enhance health literacy and facilitate shared decision-making. Ensure the resource is suitable for use in patient counselling.

Reach a consensus within the group on both the design and content of the patient resource.

This task has been designed to be challenging, authentic and complex. Whilst students may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, successful completion of assessment in this course will require students to critically engage in specific contexts and tasks for which artificial intelligence will provide only limited support and guidance. Task description

Presentation Recording

A Clinical Bite is a focused case review with key learnings. It should identify ONE clinical intervention, situation or a particular aspect of pharmaceutical care provided by you to a patient which demonstrates the application of learning from a therapeutic area covered in topics of the PHRM7032 modules. The objective is to use the key message(s) derived from the case to improve care.

Presentation: Present your Clinical Bite as a short video or Voice-Over-PowerPoint with a maximum duration of 7 minutes. The presentation video must include video of you presenting. Various presentation formats are suitable for Blackboard upload, e.g., Zoom or Desktop recording capture, PowerPoint video capture, or you can make your own video with editing software. The UQ Library can assist with the technical aspects of preparing a short video for Blackboard upload.
