Qualitative and quantitative research methods and their application in applied contexts are covered. Enables students to develop their research methods knowledge and skills, as well as develop science communication skills for both academic and practitioner audiences.
The course will provide a brief overview of research methods in applied psychology and focus on specific topics of relevance to the design and implementation of research in organisational settings. More specifically, the course should assist students in the consideration of methodological (i.e. measurement and design) issues related to applied research projects, as well as how to best communicate about these issues with both academic and practitioner audiences.
