Task description
The practicum folio is a compilation of work undertaken during the placement. The folio consists of an exemplar of client-related and evidence-based work associated with the practica which has been undertaken and thus will differ in form and content for each student. Details regarding preparation and requirement of folio reports are contained in the Practicum Manual and will be discussed during review meetings with your Senior Psychologist (Organisational).
Note that there are no maximum word limits for the practicum folio – indeed, some organisational reports are quite long and complex. In the interests of fairness however, written work such as essays and reports are required to have a minimum word count of 2000 words.
Students are required to submit a printed copy of the placement folio directly to the Senior Psychologist (Organisational). Once feedback has been provided, and the student has completed and resubmitted any requested amendments, the student must upload the final folio version (complete with any amendments) as a scanned PDF file via Turnitin. Please note that the final grade for the placement course will not be released to the student until the folio is successfully uploaded.
Submission guidelines
A hard copy of the folio and all other required documentation to be submitted directly to the Senior Psychologist (Organisational).
Electronic Submission
Once your folio has been reviewed and you have received an email advising you that a "Pass" grade has been recommended, you will need to collect, scan and upload the completed folio (including all documentation submitted) with the following naming convention:
SURNAME_Firstname_student number_course code_semester_year
{for example: SMITH_Jane_S#24682468_PSYCXXXX_Semester1(or2)_201X.pdf}

Please log onto: https://learn.uq.edu.au/ to access the portal under the 'Assessment' menu (on the left hand side of the screen).
