The aim of this course is to broaden your knowledge and understanding of your coaching and the coaching environment more generally. Students will develop, implement and evaluate a research intervention program to enhance personal coaching quality.
The aim of this course is to broaden your knowledge and understanding of your own coaching and the coaching environment more generally. Using a scaffolded and progresive module structure (including an Action Research framework), coaches will develop, implement and evaluate a research intervention program to enhance personal coaching quality. Engaging in Action Research should provide a suitable framework for coaches to continually develop their coaching skills beyond the time frame for this course.

Aims and outcomes
This course aims to broaden your knowledge and understanding of your own coaching practices. Moreover, students will be guided through a formalised process of reflecting upon and developing the quality of their coaching.
Learning outcomes
After successfully completing this course you should be able to:

Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of Action Research and its relevance to improving coaching practice.

Critically evaluate a variety of components of coaching beyond superficial notions of what comprises coaches' work.
